 | MILICA MOGIN - Born in the city of Belgrade, Yugoslavia. At an early age, Milica discovered both her love for art and her own talent for painting. She completed her Master's Degree in Architecture at the University of Belgrade where she continued to expand her creativity. During the last ten years she spent more time painting and became member of the "Painting Society Of Vojvodina"-Yugoslavia. She took part in many group exhibitions In 1999 she moved to New Zealand and now she is living in Upper Hutt and painting full time. In the year 2001 she became member of the NZ Academy of Fine Arts. That same year she started to exhibit her works in their group exhibitions. |
| Artist's Statement: Once we have passed beyond the barrier of pure subject, our enjoyment of painting is limited only by our capacity to respond emotionally and intellectually to the infinitely varied expression of the human spirit affored us in the art of all times and all places.
