Deaf Deaf World (AUCKLAND) This is a fun event where the world changes - hence the name! NZSL students and tutors are encouraged to come as this event gives you an insight into Deaf culture along with the Deaf sense of humour! (Tip: Bring out your NZSL!) Event starts promptly at 7pm and lasts for two hours before the world is supposedly back to its original state.
Venue: Auckland Deaf Society. $2 gold coin entry.

End of Year Get Together (AUCKLAND again!)
Friday, November 11th at Auckland Deaf Society. 8pm to LATE! Free Admission *ask your NZSL tutor for a card to enter* Chat, catch up, chat, and have some drinks before everyone departs for the holidays!

NZSLTA encourages people learning NZSL to attend local Deaf community events and events organised by local tutor branches to meet Deaf people and practice NZSL in real life situations.
