I prefer to do my work on Unix or Linux environment.

Object oriented (OO) design and programming is my specialty. Most of my experience is in C++ and Java. Java is definitely winning my hart now.

It all started long time ago, I was 12 or 13 years old when I wrote my first program in BASIC. It was done on primary school machines with no persistent storage, so everything you do would be gone once the computer is powered off. The reason I like to recall such distant memories is that it feels good to be able to say to someone: "You have it easy now, it was different when I was starting!? Sometimes I hear stories about punch cards and tape arrays and hand wired core memory. I can't say I have seen much of it, my parents have and well, I guess I had it easy as well. Next language I got to know during my Mechanical Engineering study was FORTRAN 77. Very useful yeah! Some people still know what it is.
